Unified information service

Quite often structural units of the same company are based at rather long distances from each other for various reasons:

  • Structural units are designed for performing different functions, for example, production, warehouse, office
  • Depending on the nature of operations, branches of the organization (car service stations, tour, insurance or real estate agencies) can be based at different locations and regions in order to be closer to their customers.

ПIn situations like this it is inconvenient or impossible to post the phone numbers of all branches in an advertisement. A network of tour agencies, specialized in different areas is a vivid example.

It is impossible to advertise a single phone number for the entire network. Most likely the customer calling at any of the agencies who has been referred to another branch will call a different agency rather than try to reach the appropriate branch at the numbers mentioned in the advertisement.

In this case it is possible to use:

  • A very expensive connection to the communication operator for creating a unified communication network which not always is feasible. Besides, your business becomes dependent on the coverage offered by the concerned operator.
  • The Call Center Unified Information Service: Operators of the Call Center will answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate branch or specific person based on the scheme. In addition, the secretary can search and reach independently the necessary contact person at all mentioned phone numbers. The calling customer, who will not be aware of the search, will be held on the line.

Apart from re-addressing calls, the secretary is competent to answer questions of general nature which do not relate to specific employees of the company. Due to its specific nature, the task of organizing the Unified Information Service cannot be accomplished through the hardware method. It is impossible to design logically which call goes to which object, and in case of errors the company may lose its customer.
